The right to the city and the citizen security crisis

The article describes and explores the confines of the right to the city as a human right; analyzes the serious citizen security crisis suffered by the Indo-American region; contrasts and examines both elements of analysis in order to propose an appropriate criminological approach to understand the security implosion of the city and the serious impact on security in urban space; and finally proposes a criminological policy appropriate to the present; with the objective of facilitating the understanding of the criminal phenomenon and contributing to the local government in the social control of the specific crime that occurs in its constituency.
