About the Journal
GAIA Environmental Studies Journal is an electronic publication produced by the Directorate of Research and University Extension (DIEX) of the American University (UAM). The Journal aims to disseminate articles, essays, and projects resulting from various high-quality and original academic research and work.
Current Issue
The Journal of Socio-Environmental Studies – Gaia is a scientific publication dedicated to the dissemination of original research, critical reviews, and interdisciplinary studies in the socio-environmental field. Its aim is to contribute to the analysis, understanding, and transformation of the relationships between society and the environment from diverse theoretical, methodological, and territorial perspectives. The journal promotes open access to knowledge and is intended for researchers, academics, students, and professionals engaged with contemporary socio-environmental challenges.
