Abstract

This editorial brings together five interdisciplinary contributions addressing diverse topics in history, architecture, engineering, and technology. Through studies on the city of Granada in the 18th century, architectural analysis levels, the influence of soil on the seismic performance of structures, the effects of cactus mucilage on steel corrosion, and the impact of analytics and big data on supply chains, it highlights the connection between technical, social, and sustainable aspects in academic research. These works underscore the value of a comprehensive approach to understanding and solving contemporary problems from multiple perspectives.
