About the Journal

The Journal of Economic Sciences (RCE-UAM) is an open-access, annual publication created in 2024 by the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences (FCAE) of the American University (UAM). Its objective is to promote and disseminate knowledge of the economic sciences, based on research carried out by the faculty's teaching staff, as well as by students participating in its different study programs. This does not exclude external researchers interested in contributing to the recent discourse on the economic performance of developing countries, with special emphasis on Nicaragua. RCE-UAM publishes theoretical and empirical articles in both English and Spanish.
