We inform our reading community that the journal Gaia: Journal of Socioenvironmental Studies will change its publication frequency from annual to biannual, starting with vol. 2, no. 2. This decision will allow us to publish high-quality content more frequently, bringing research, experiences, reflections, and proposals that contribute to building a more sustainable future to our readers in a more timely manner. With two issues per year, we reaffirm our commitment to serving as a meeting place for researchers, professionals, and everyone interested in socioenvironmental and energy topics. Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025)The Journal of Socio-Environmental Studies – Gaia is a scientific publication dedicated to the dissemination of original research, critical reviews, and interdisciplinary studies in the socio-environmental field. Its aim is to contribute to the analysis, understanding, and transformation of the relationships between society and the environment from diverse theoretical, methodological, and territorial perspectives. The journal promotes open access to knowledge and is intended for researchers, academics, students, and professionals engaged with contemporary socio-environmental challenges.
